Webcam on the International Space Station

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has launched a broadcast from an outside webcam of the International Space Station.

Streaming video will be mainly transferred to the Earth at the time when astronauts are asleep: from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. (Moscow time). In the remaining time the current position of International Space Station on the Earth orbit and its trajectory will be shown at the NASA site. Besides the video portion of a television signal in such cases when it’s possible, negotiations between the experts dealing with the current mission and the astronauts will be included to the transmission. Audio- and video-transmission will be conducted also during the docking between a station and other spacecrafts, and astronauts going out (выход) to open space.
